Ricky Marlowe is a New York City based writer and author of short stories, poems, and novels. He is a lover of stories of all kinds, which reflect in the genres that he writes.
Ricky writes intimate stories for readers drawn to tragic romance, interpersonal relationships, political intrigue, and characters caught in the tides between love and duty. His work explores the quiet personal devastation beneath grand, life-changing events. In his worlds, magic is hard science, beautiful and logical, where even the fate of nations may turn on the grief of a single heart.
He is currently writing The Blades of Alcrést, an epic fantasy series about a fugitive princess who becomes the heart of a rebellion, and a reluctant prince who becomes the commander sent to crush it. He writes other short stories when inspiration strikes.
Ricky lives quietly at home with his children and life partner, and their Shiba Inu, Rio.
